Seaside is the song featured on Working Class Hussys Music Vlog episode #13.

The sun will be back again. That’s what we’ll be basking in.
Hard times come and go like tides ebb and flow, don’t you know?
Once we’ve weathered the storm, we’ll all be better than normal.
The sea parts in half when we look back on it and laugh.
Everything’s new. So what?
It may not look quite like it did before,
but I’ll always recognize the Jersey shore
‘cause it runs through my blood;
the lazy days and gaudy memories
of cotton candy, salt water taffy,
and being young.
Flip-flops, ‘surfers on their boards: that’s what summer days are for.
The sand between our toes, ‘sun-tan lotion all over my nose.
The sights, scents, and sounds. The lightly dressed crowds.
Screams heard from scary rides. This scene, to me, is the time of my life.
That’s why it broke my heart
to see the pier that fell into the sea
with the roller coaster, Ferris wheel,
and all the homes hit hard;
tossed around like they were children’s toys
from the tantrum of a little boy.
Simply destroyed.
Now they’re all waiting for the day when
promises will be fulfilled,
‘cause damage-claims and small donations
aren’t enough to help rebuild.
And the devastation has a chilling effect on all the people
who are starting to lose their will.
It was my youth, my love.
You’d either sit around all day so bored,
or spend the summer at the Jersey shore.
But it’s been through so much:
the land of fun ‘n games and bumper cars,
with its funnel-cake and boardwalk bars.
It was my youth.
It was my youth.
But we can make new
memories too.
