Rubber is the song featured in our first Video Blog, a live animation video.
My buddy’s mother has a thing for rubbers.
She likes to pass them out to all of his friends,
and make them promise her that someday when
they’re with a lover, female or other,
excepting farm-animals, cats or dogs,
or dirty, over-coated men.
No matter who you are, no matter what you want.
When you’re spending your time with a woman,
you better make up your mind she’ll never become
another teenage mom, or what’s even worse,
another lonely statistic number
dying of a disease, so keep your rubbers
where they’ll be seen.
His baby brother, he has a thing for rubbers.
He likes to blow them up like balloons,
and then use them as floats in the swimming-pool.
Someday he’ll grow up. His mother showed him
the proper use, but he got confused
and said that’s a helluva’ place to stick a balloon.
No matter where you were or who you think you are,
you better gain a respect for your rubbers,
because they might save your life like no other
small, plastic bag will do. They come in scented, lubed,
or even glow-in-the-dark for all you perverts
who take it all as a joke dealing with rubbers.
How ‘bout you?
Buckle up, we’re going for a ride.
‘Condom World’ is having a sale tonight.
‘Remember in the old days we just kept it inside?
But now I’m wearing a smile and a rubber.
It may have been quite a while, but it’s worth it.
And when I’m spending my time with a woman,
I can enjoy my night without a worry.
I got a rubber because I love her,
now all I gotta’ do is learn the right way to put it on.
