Working Class Hussys opens up for Bumper Jacksons Aug 27

The Levitt AMP Trenton Music Series returns for the second year to the underused and historic three-acre Capital Green public space to reignite community pride in Trenton and encourage residents to engage with the city’s rich cultural and historical offerings.

Presented by the Trenton Downtown Association, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting economic growth and development as well as arts and cultural activities in the capital city.

Working Class Hussys are excited to open up for Bumper Jacksons and help host them to our home territory! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the Capital Green in Trenton. See you there!

The Bumper Jacksons are hot and sweet, painting America’s story from New Orleans’ brothels to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78′s, the Bumper Jacksons boldly and elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique, DIY style. Recognized as the Mid-Atlantic’s 2015 “Artist of the Year” by the Washington Area Music Awards, the Bumper Jacksons are playfully creative with their originals and re-imagining American roots music with both power and tenderness. Bursting at the seams with some of the richest threads of old America, Bumper Jacksons bring you into the center of a party where everyone’s invited and the dance floor never sleeps.
